Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang
8:00: You will be pick up from your hotel in Hanoi and transferred to Ha Giang, we have lunch on the way in Tuyen Quang province. We arrive in Ha Giang early in the afternoon. We check into a local family stilt house in Ha Thanh village where we will spend the night.
Then take a short walk around the village, meeting and talking with local villagers will help you understand more the culture of Tay ethnic group. Dinner will be provided by our host family . (lunch and dinner are included )
Day 2: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Dong Van
After breakfast, it’s time for us to say good bye to our host family and continue our drive to Tan Son. Before lunch we will take a beautiful hiking trails around Quan Ba village . The terrain features verdant and small hillocks, seasonal farmlands and is home to Dao and Tay people.
During our hike we take time to talk to the locals about their daily life. We head down the mountain and find Dong Van, a beautiful town surrounded by impressive rock formations.
Here, we stay overnight in a charming hotel. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included).
Day 3: Dong Van – Meo Vac
The hike for today is through remote and beautiful countryside of Dong Van where we pass through several villages along tracks used by the local people.
We are rewarded with a brilliant backdrop of picturesque valleys covered in rice paddies.
The H’mong and Hoa people, who are the local ethnic minorities, exhibit their friendliness through their colorful clothing and warm hospitality.
Later we have lunch in Dong Van and continue our drive to Meo Vac. Overnight at the Hotel (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included).
Day 4: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Quan Ba
We drive the scenic journey up through rugged outcrops to the beautiful town of Meo Vac.
Set among towering mountains, Meo Vac is home to some H’mong and Hoa farming families.
The scenery up here is breathtakingly beautiful. As the sun sets, we descend due south to Quan Ba where we stay overnight in a traditional wooden stil-house of the Red Dao Familys . (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included).
Days 5 Tam Son Qua Ba – Ha Giang -Hanoi
After breakfast we begin a full day of travel with the journey back to Hanoi which goes over the Tam Son Valley where guests can take a short trek to a H’mong village. Stopping again at Ha Giang for lunch, you will be back in Hanoi early in the evening.
